HOW FAST?

This large-format highly illustrated series for young readers introduces the basic concepts of measurement. Each book focuses on one form of measurement (speed, length, height or mass) and shows graphically - with side-by-side comparisons - how each of the featured objects compares to others. How fast does a dragonfly fly? And how does that compare to the speed of a huge ocean liner, an African elephant, a stagecoach, and a male and female sprinter at top speed? Short, simple text blocks provide context and detail on each of the subjects featured.
